We have a long-standing reputation for having strong media content. We have photos, articles in local publications, appearances on radio, TV and of course our famous drone, video and data tracking content. I wanted to share a next step in our video capability.
Spencer Pratten, World Walking Footballer of the Year and Bob Willis negotiated use of the latest VEO Professional Videoing Technology (the same technology used by the main club Chelmsford City). It is specifically designed to record football and has superior quality output and a range of features that enables match analysis.

This is a first for a walking football club and is far ahead of what most amateur clubs enjoy using (if anything). We are at the trial stage, essentially playing with the technology to experiment with how we can get the best from it.
Some members have already played in training or EWFL games where we have used the technology
We anticipate several benefits –
• High-quality footage that allows analysis of what we do well (and where we can improve)
• Material for new members to aid their confidence and development
• A helpful aid for our winter coaching programme
• The generation of material that we can use to promote the club
• Interest for members who get a chance to see (and share) themselves playing walking football ( our grandkids seldom believe us)
• More serious performance analysis for EWFL team managers
• Archive material that will contribute to (and preserve) our heritage
• A reduction in editing time

Sit back and watch one example of a EWFL Match
We are in the early stages of playing with the technology but I wanted to share another step in our club development. Finally, a big thank you to Spencer & Bob who have driven this club initiative.
