Our ladies team have now formally entered the EWFL for 2027 – congratulations, great progress in a such a short period of time! Naturally, they are looking to get as much competitive game time as they can as they prepare for next season. They entered into the Essex FA Women Just Play over 35 5 a-side tournament in September and won. The competition was a fun tournament and they entered as ‘Vintage Clarets’
They drew 1-1 with Foxash Green, before beating Foxash Orange 3-0, Witham Town Belles 5-0 and Flitch United 3-0. They then went on to beat Flitch United 3-1 in the final to grab their second tournament medal in a month!
Good to see the ladies having fun and winning at this different format. Well done ladies, a good run out, and another success for you and our club!
