After nearly 10 years captaining the England over 60s Spencer stepped up to the England over 70s
The most recent set of games has seen the England men over 60s, 70s and a women’s England Parkinsons team together with a ‘Kicking Cancer’ team head to Canada to both promote the game as well as share the physical and psychological benefits of walking football.
The England over 70s played 4 games against the Canada 60s and 70s together with 5 games against mixed age ‘Maple select’ teams.
The England lads won 8 and drew 1 with Spencer bagging 13 goals and wearing the captains armband a couple of times. Great to see the England boys promoting the game and the benefits.
