Two years ago we established the ‘Bandy Boys’, a group who have all experienced prostate issues.
The brainchild of Mike Hardwick, the group wear hooped (bandy) football socks to publicly signify that they are happy to be approached by folks who have concerns about prostate issues.
Each of the ‘ Bandy Boys’ will tell that talking about concerns and taking advice from those who have navigated the path is a tremendous help in making decisions about treatment, not feeling alone, and feeling supported on the journey.
It takes great courage to stand tall and be a beacon for others – we are proud of everyone of you !
We took a couple of pics 2 years ago and it seemed like it was time to update these, so today, the ‘Bandy Boys’ proudly gathered in club kit to remind us that they are here to help those of us with concerns.
Finally, the most important thing that you can do, is to get tested.
