Both our over 65 teams were in action at Billericay this week. The Clarets beat Orient 1-0 , Billericay 1-0 , and drew 1-1 with second place Wakering. The Clarets remain top by one point , with 7 matches to go it is all to play for.
The goal of the season (so far) came from Spencer in the Billericay game, with a 20-yard screamer into the top-left hand corner.
The Blues had a tougher day but once again showed that if is very fine margins. They lost 2-0 to Little Oakley , 1-0 to Billericay, and 1-0 to Eastwood despite matching their opponents for long periods in all 3 games.
