Our over 70s walking football teams kicked off their league seasons in March.
The Clarets were defending their 2025 division 1 title and the Blues are newly formed starting their first league season in division 2.
The Clarets made a cracking start beating Eastwood 1-0 , Little Oakley 3-0, and Cheshunt 2-0. Spencer P scored all 6 goals , with a hat trick against Little Oakley.
The Blues had a more frustrating start, drawing 0-0 with Billericay but narrowly losing 1-0 to both Romford and Concord. As we know there are very fine margins in these games and the Blues are finding their feet as a new league team.
