Firstly, a huge thank you to Spencer and ‘Gunrunner’ plus David Bowie for an absolutely fantastic night !!
105 people rocked the Chelmsford City clubhouse to a great selection of outstanding rock classics (frightening when you can remember when some of them were first released!!).
There was some fantastic generosity on the night, with £540 raised from the raffle and £350 raised from the auction. This means we raised a total of £1500 for Prostate Cancer UK on the night and have raised £21,385 over the past 6 years – a truly exceptional effort !!
Thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes (and bid in the auction) as well as the 9 volunteers who helped put the stage up/down. A great job from Tina & Alan selling the tickets – thank you. I am also grateful to the main club ( Spencer, Jackie, Niki) and Laser Electrical for their usual support and generosity on the Arsenal tickets.
Once again, we have shown ourselves to have big hearts (and still able to rock!!). We love winning football matches, but the winner again last night was Prostate Cancer UK.
