CCWF Blues and Clarets All Together
Both our 65 Clarets & Blues were in league action again at Billericay.
The Clarets won 3 and drew 1 to stay one point clear at the top of Division 1 (with 3 games left to play).
They are guaranteed at least runners up (the 3rd place team are 10 points behind) but they will be doing their level best in September to bring home a 5th title in 6 years.
The Blues played well, earning a win and a draw before narrowly losing 1-0 to each of the top two sides. A nice twist for the day was that Dave Gregory (in his new EWFL ref role) refereed the Clarets v Blues game (and did a great job).
Finally, it was nice to see the post-match camaraderie between the two Chelmsford sides.
