CCWFC have joined forces with Essex Cricket Seniors. Over the last two years we have supported their fundraising walk for Prostate Cancer UK. We have generated £2500 from the two walks and had some great fun along the way
We have been invited to participate again. In short, the walk is on the 9th of May, starting at 10.30 from Central Park and finishing at the Essex County Cricket ground at lunchtime.
The added bonus, like last year, is that participants will be able to spend the afternoon watching cricket, this year it is Essex v Yorkshire. Rather than individual sponsorship, we invite all club members to consider donating, we will then make a single donation on behalf of our club.
The first year we had 12 walkers, last year we had 25, let’s make it 50 walkers or more this year – it is a great day out for an even greater cause!!
