We pride ourselves on something for everyone.
A week or so ago I shared our recreational initiative, today it is about another call-up for England.
I am really pleased to share that Lee Sterland has been called up for the England o50’ walking football team. He will be pulling on the England shirt in a 9 – team tournament in France in early July.
This means that we now have England players at o50’, o60’ and o65’ , a remarkably proud day for our club.

Of course, we also have players who are trialling for other ‘home nations’ ,together with a number of players representing South-East England.
It underlines the breadth and depth that we have in the club – it you just want to kick a ball for fun, you can, if you want to pull on a shirt for your country, you can!
I’m sure that you will all join me in congratulating Lee on his England call-up !
