Today, 27th April, nearly 40 Chelmsford City Walking Football players and supporters celebrated Ron Adlingtons 80th birthday with a CCWF club tournament
Four teams battled out a round robin tournament with Ron’ team, The Ronettes, prevailing on goal difference, with 2 wins and a draw
Ron played a commanding role as captain and right back. Here are a few photographs to remind us of a very enjoyable afternoon playing football. We all had a great after game celebration at the Chelmsford City Clubhouse with sausage and chips then birthday cake before presentation of medals and a winners cup
