I am pleased to share that Ian Bentley is our new club Welfare Officer.
As folks know we take the welfare of our club members very seriously , it is an inherent part of our culture.
Ian’ responsibilities include –
Working closely with the CCWFC Committee on any conduct issues that impact our wider membership
Oversight of our health & safety ; first aid ; and incident reporting arrangements ( including review of our Medical Emergency Action Plan)
Working closely with the CCWFC Committee to help support club members who may find themselves facing difficult challenges.
Ian will have a standing agenda slot at monthly committee meetings.
I would once again like to thank Gerry Howard for his long service in the role and the important contribution that he has made in recent years. Gerry has generously offered ( characteristically) to support Ian in the transition and will remain a source of wisdom when needed.
I am sure that you will join me in wishing Ian well in his new role.
