Packed house rocks
90 of us rocked the Chelmsford City clubhouse to a great selection of outstanding rock classics (with some new favourites added for the night). There was some fantastic generosity on the night , with £465 raised from the raffle and £495 raised from the auction. That means we raised a total of £1440 for Prostate Cancer UK on the night and have raised £16,440 over the past 5 years – a truly exceptional effort
Thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes (particularly the cap from Mike H , which everyone avoided like the plague) as well as the 9 volunteers who helped put the stage up / down ( you know who you are).
I am also grateful to the main club ( Spencer, Steph , Jackie, Niki) and Laser Electrical for their usual support and generosity on the signed shirt, hampers, and Arsenal tickets.
Once again ,we have shown ourselves to have big hearts (and still able to rock!!). We love winning football matches, but the winner again last night was Prostate Cancer UK.
