Club Supports Another Charity Day

We enjoy our walking footie but we also take our place in the community seriously.

Over the recent 3-4 years we have raised over £7000 for prostate Cancer UK; donated £1000 to local Xmas appeals; supported the Xmas charity appeals at Billericay; as well as responding to a number of individual appeals.

We have raised over £10,000 for worthy causes.

Tuesday 28th March we will continue our tradition by supporting the Basildon MIND charity tournament.

We have entered 2 Chelmsford City WFC teams and donated £250 as an entry fee ( and of course, there will be individual contributions to the raffle!!).

On this occasion the committee has agreed that we use the opportunity as a pre-season warm-up for our o60’ Clarets and o65’ Clarets.

A big thank you to those who are representing the club and an even bigger thank you our 20 or so club members who have signed up for Tuesday training – you make our commitment to these type of charity events possible.

We are a club with true depth and a big heart
