We are very fortunate to have a great relationship with the main club. Yesterday, we held the first of the ‘celebratory lunches’ to mark the success of our teams this season.
First up was the over 65s, winners of the EWFL 65 Division 1 for the 4th Consecutive Year and winners of the WFA Cup East Regional Final.
They also made the 65 national cup final.
Club Owner and Chairman, Spencer Gore and Club Director Matt Starling were on had to make the on-pitch presentation to Spencer Pratten, Danny Spencer, Paul Arber, Gary Playle, Steve Mann, Matt Freeman, and Chris Jullings. Colin Haydon, Dave Roast, and Neville Brown were unable to be there.
Next up on the 30th of November are the 60s celebrating their league success, with the 50s celebrating their league success and cup final appearance, on the 18th of January.
It is fantastic that we have such a vibrant and successful club – long may it last!!
