Huge thank you to Spencer and ‘Gunrunner’ for an absolutely fantastic rock music night – it was exceptional!! Nearly 80 of us rocked the Chelmsford City clubhouse to a great selection of outstanding rock classics!
It was great to welcome some walking football friends from Billericay as well as celebrate the success of our over 50, 60, and 65 teams this great season. There was some fantastic generosity on the night , with £390 raised from the raffle and £580 raised from the auction. That means we raised a total of £970 for Prostate Cancer UK on the night and just shy of £10,000 over the past 4 years
Thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes (particularly the wooden spoons , jump leads, and doughnuts!!
We are all grateful to Chelmsford City club, Spencer, Steph, Jackie, and Niki for their usual support and generosity on VIP lunches, hampers, and champagne for the auction.
Once again ,we have shown ourselves to have big hearts and still able to rock the night away. We love winning football matches, but the real winner was Prostate Cancer UK.
