Colin Haydon has been named the 65s England Walking Football Captain after attending a selection session to play for England this is a wonderful extra achievement. Born 1953 in Barking, representing Redbridge Schools District. At 16 he started playing adult football progressing to Non League with Ford United, Barking, Walthamstow Ave and Walthamstow Pennant. While playing at this level he started his FA coaching career attending many London and Essex Association Coaching sessions. Colin decided at the age of 65 to continue his love of football and joined Chelmsford City WFC enjoying success winning the Essex League, Age UK Cup and reaching the National Finals 2019
